Adam like other "Gods" are names for land formations and geological structures. 

Adam like Odin is the Eye of Adam or Eye of Odan. 

 

 

Adama is red soil from which Adam was forged.  Red sopil contains iron oxides used at the beginning of the Iron Age in Mauritania.

The forges of Thor are in the foothills of the Eye of Ouadane (Odan) (Adam)
