Noumenia New Moon

Noumenia  New Moon

Noumenia is the ancient Hellenic celebration of the new moon, marking the first day of the lunar month. It is considered the holiest day of the month and is a time for honoring household deities, particularly Apollo, as well as Hestia, Zeus, Hermes, and Hekate. Celebrations include making offerings, cleaning and renewing household shrines, and spending time with family to begin the month with blessings and new projects.
